Reach the beach this summer — with one of Canada’s largest professional Shakespeare festivals. Here’s your chance to take in Bard on the Beach’s reprise presentation of As You Like It featuring two-dozen classic Beatles songs performed in Vanier Park against the backdrop of Vancouver’s great outdoors. Join Executive Director Claire Sakaki and UBC Theatre & Film Department Head Stephen Heatley at the pre-show alumni reception, as we recognize our esteemed alumni participating in this theatrical season.

Tickets for As You Like It are available at the discounted alumni rate of $59 and youth rate of $34.50 (22 years or younger). The alumni reception, sponsored by the Alumni Association, is free with your ticket.
Only 100 tickets are available to the show and must be purchased by Thursday, July 13, 2023.

As You Like It — BMO Mainstage
This joyful tribute to love, laughter, and music features two-dozen classic Beatles songs, from “I Want to Hold Your Hand” to “Here Comes the Sun,” performed live on stage. The original Bard production played to sold-out houses in 2018 and has triumphed across North America since then.
