alumNIGHTS: New York City — Hip-hop museum exhibition

To the hip-hop and you don’t stop! A new genre broke on to the U.S. music scene in the 1970s — and grew into a cultural powerhouse that has overtaken the world. Over half a century later, Hip-Hop: Conscious, Unconscious offers a survey of its incredible evolution. Join UBC alumni for a private guided tour of this photography exhibition at Fotografiska New York museum in Manhattan. Don’t miss your chance to learn all about how this popular culture phenomenon has and continues to shape music, art, and social movements, while mingling with fellow alumni in New York City.
