Speaker Biography
Sheryl Song
Sheryl Song is co-founder and CEO of Ryna, an apartment rental and sublet marketplace aiming to make renting and living easier, safer, and more attainable for renters. Prior to founding Ryna, she specialized in executive search, talent strategy, leadership succession, and board services in the commercial real estate sector across North America and Asia. She is the chair of the board for Street Haven, the oldest women’s shelter in Toronto. She is the recipient of the W. Galen Weston Top Entrepreneur Award and EY Women in Tech Award from NEXT Canada. She was also named as an up-and-coming young leader in the Peak’s “2022 Emerging Leaders for Startups and Tech.” She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from UBC.
