Moderator Biography
Maya Ramji
Born and raised in Vancouver, Maya Ramji is a second-year commerce student who is passionate about building community and making a positive impact. She has been actively involved in local youth advocacy groups and councils. Returning to the UBC Student Alumni Council for a second year and serving on its Internal Committee, she is excited to continue helping to foster meaningful connections between students and alumni while enhancing the UBC student experience. Outside of classes, she is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys practicing yoga, baking, and attending concerts.

Tina Filion (CEPF) is a Financial Educator with the Credit Counselling Society, supporting communities in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. With over a decade of experience as a business owner, she brings energy, empathy, and real-world financial insight to every session. She is passionate about helping people understand money and giving them the tools to thrive financially.
