UBC Botanical Garden holiday wreathmaking

Beautify the season with a handmade wreath inspired by UBC Botanical Garden’s natural treasures! In this hands-on workshop, learn tips and techniques for making a natural holiday wreath, perfect for decorating your door or gifting to a friend. Enjoy a festive morning of craft and creativity—and take home your own creation to brighten the holidays!

Tickets
Adults: $95 (includes all taxes and fees)

Light refreshments will be provided.

Tickets must be purchased by a UBC alum, and each alum can purchase up to four (4) tickets per transaction. The deadline to purchase tickets is November 28, 2025 (or until sold out). Space is limited—purchase early to avoid disappointment!

All sales are final and non-refundable. Tickets are non-transferable to other sessions. If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, ticket holders will receive a gift card equal to the ticket value, redeemable for UBC Botanical Garden and Nitobe Memorial Garden admission or for use at The Shop in the Garden.

As participants will spend brief periods outdoors, please dress appropriately.

Please bring a pair of secateurs/pruners, gardening gloves, and a previous year’s wreath frame to reuse, if you have them. You may bring winter foliage and branches from your yard.

Holiday wreaths are also available for purchase at The Shop in the Garden during the festive season.
