Are you passionate about writing? Do you have a great story to tell? Alumni who enjoy writing are invited to submit original short fiction (from 1,500 to 1,750 words) that has not previously been published and incorporates UBC in some capacity, such as setting or characters. Entrants from budding wordsmiths to established writers are welcome to participate in this literary contest. The winning entry will receive a $1,000 prize and have their story published and illustrated in The University of British Columbia Magazine’s Spring 2024 edition.
