alumni UBC Wine Series: Province-wide pinot

alumni UBC Wine Series: Province-wide pinot

Burgundy’s hallowed grape has found a distinctive home in British Columbia’s winelands. A capricious chameleon, pinot’s ability to transmit and translate site is legendary. Join us for a revealing tasting of pinot noir wines from six unique growing environments around the province. DJ Kearney (BA’84), a die-hard pinot fanatic will bring her global perspective and intimacy with BC’s pinot history as she leads us around the province with six exciting iterations:

  • Poplar Grove (new release) — Naramata
  • Sage-Hayward — Gulf Islands (Saturna Island)
  • Unsworth — Vancouver Island
  • Monte Creek Living Land Pinot — Shuswap/Thompson
  • Corcelettes — Similkameen
  • Quail’s Gate Dijon Clone — Kelowna
