Help clean up Vancouver’s shoreline

THE A PROJECT

Help clean up
Vancouver’s
shoreline

Litter isn’t just ugly — it’s also harmful to ecosystems, wildlife, and us. That’s why, once again, we’re helping to protect Vancouver’s shores during the week of World Oceans Day. In partnership with Ocean Wise Shoreline Cleanup and the City of Vancouver, alumni UBC is inviting all alumni, along with their family and friends, to participate in our annual effort to collect and remove trash from our outdoor spaces. This year, we’ll cover the area from Creekside Park to Charleson Park in the Olympic Village neighbourhood. Come join this local effort to help make a positive impact on the environment where we live, work, and play.
