Privacy Statement

Your personal information is collected by alumni UBC  for the purpose of logging in and accessing features of the alumni UBC mobile application.  In addition, your location information may be used for purposes of notifying you of benefits and services available in your area.  Your personal information may also be shared with service providers in order to verify your status as an alumni of UBC and access alumni benefits via the application. It is also being shared with UBC, which is collecting it under the authority of section 26(c) of the Province of British Columbia’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. We may also use your contact information to update our donor and alumni mailing lists, which are used by both alumni UBC and UBC to keep donors and alumni informed about University news, events and initiatives, including fundraising.  Any questions about the collection or use of this information should be forwarded to alumni.ubc@ubc.ca.
