Everyone’s invited to help roll out the rainbow for some roller-skating fun! For this year’s alumni UBC Pride party, we’re heading over to Rolla Skate Club (Rollerland) @ PNE for an evening of recreation and entertainment, hosted by drag queen extraordinaire Karmella Barr. Come celebrate 2SLGBTQIA+ communities while enjoying the company of fellow UBC alumni. Whether you want to roller skate or simply enjoy the party, show up in your most festive Pride outfit for a chance to win a prize!

Tickets are $20 for adults and free for youth under 16, including skate rental, 1 snack or drink. Guests are participating in this activity at their own risk. Please bring your own helmet (bike helmets work great!). All skaters 13 years and under must bring and wear a helmet.
The registration deadline is Wednesday, July 26th (or until fully booked).

Host biography
Karmella Barr
Karmella Barr has been doing drag in Vancouver for eight years and counting. Known as an incredibly personable queen, their amazing balance of emotion and glamour in their performances earned them the title of Miss Congeniality in 2016 and Miss Cobalt 6 in 2017. Currently the 51st elected Emprex of the Dogwood Monarchist Society, Karmella is working with Emperor Scotty B.Boxx to raise money for three charities: Urban Native Youth Association, Vancouver Black Therapy and Advocacy Fund, and Health Initiative for Men. Follow their social media to find out about opportunities to participate in community events and help them raise money for charity.
