Speaker Biographies
Louise S. Fry, BCom ’94, FEA, PFP
Louise S. Fry (BCom ’94) is a curious and intuitive advisor at TD. Her attention to detail and effective listening skills (plus her fluency in Cantonese, French, and Japanese) enables her to work collaboratively with clients and their network of professionals. She is regularly engaged with various community initiatives. Currently, she mentors younger professionals both within and outside of the TD network. She is also a member of the Women of Wealth (Pacific Region) and Female Advisor Council (national) communities at TD. She graduated from UBC in 1994 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and holds the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designation.
Ryan Ormerod, BA ’09, CFA, CFP
In charge of investment research, strategy, and implementation for the Fry Ormerod Wealth Advisory Group (which is part of TD Wealth Private Investment Advice), Ryan Ormerod (BA ’09) is enthusiastic about wealth planning and portfolio construction. His energy is infectious and he has a gift for communicating clearly and effectively with clients and business collaborators. In addition to a Bachelor of Arts from UBC, Ryan is a CFA charterholder and also holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
