At alumni UBC, Rob Kim is dedicated to developing strategies that help provide lifelong learning opportunities for students and alumni globally. He believes in applying learning and development approaches to support everyone’s career and personal growth. As a lifelong learner himself, he is a Gallup-certified CliftonStrengths coach, a professional ICF (International Coaching Federation) Associate Coach, and a proud three-time UBC alum. Recognized for his expertise, he has been named a LinkedIn Top Voice in Job Search and Careers.

Afnan Ali, BScAB’23
As alumni UBC’s Alumni Engagement Coordinator, Afnan Ali supports career programming and events for the UBC alumni community. A recent UBC graduate with a degree in Applied Biology and Philosophy, she is passionate about encouraging professional development through an interdisciplinary approach. This approach has helped her gain experience across diverse fields, including ornithology field research, biodiversity museum curation, and leading UBC campus tours.
