FORWARD, the campaign for UBC, will raise $3 billion and activate the power of our global alumni by doubling alumni engagement. Together we are shaping the future for a better world in three key areas: advancing healthy lives, a healthy planet, and healthy societies. The campaign will benefit research, teaching and learning across both campuses. Help be a catalyst to make it happen through giving, volunteering, and engaging with us to amplify UBC’s impact.

Volunteer
You can be one of the thousands of UBC alumni generously sharing their time, knowledge and experience. There are many roles across our Okanagan and Vancouver campuses, and in alumni communities across the globe. They can include reading student applicants’ personal profiles, serving as university advisors on committees or boards, mentoring and hiring students, and taking on clinical/part-time faculty positions.
Read, Watch and Listen Online
Every week, tremendous content is released from all corners of the UBC community. Fortunately, it is curated online at The University of British Columbia Magazine, which is a publication of alumni UBC. You’ll find the latest UBC news, articles about alumni, UBC expert opinions, information about happenings on our Vancouver and Okanagan campuses, and more. A great way to amplify UBC’s impact is to follow alumni UBC’s social media channels, and then like, share or comment on our posts and stories. You can also share online content from The University of British Columbia Magazine, and episodes from our very own From Here Forward podcast. It’s an easy way to stay connected and become a UBC ambassador!
Attend Events and Activities
alumni UBC provides opportunities for connecting with fellow alumni as well as personal growth and intellectual stimulation across a diverse range of topics. You can choose from dozens of offerings across the globe and online. They include career services, My Town Meetups, alumNIGHTS mixers, the alumni UBC Travel Club, Online Book Club, conversations with UBC experts, webinars, and marquee events such as the annual alumni UBC Achievement Awards or Homecoming.

As a UBC grad, you receive valuable alumni benefits and services automatically. There are many to enjoy, including access to the UBC Library and online journals, the services of alumni UBC financial partners and other special discounts, or more specialized benefits, such as preferential rental rates at the Robert H.
