Hey, UBC students, alumni, and BFFs! Fuel up your Homecoming celebration with this free powerhouse brunch, thanks to the UBC Student Alumni Council. Feast on a mouthwatering stack of fluffy pancakes with all the fixings while musical performer Kiran Sunil (MEL’24) serenades you with sweet sounds. Once you’re all filled up on bites and tunes, have a blast exploring interactive activities and games galore at Nest Fest before venturing on to your other Homecoming festivities. As these pancakes are first come, first served, arrive early so you don’t miss out!

The menu includes: pancakes with butter, syrup, and blueberry compote; plus juice, tea or coffee.
Pancakes will be available first come, first served on event day.

Nest Fest
This is it — UBC Homecoming’s main event! Celebrate UBC spirit and pride with fellow alumni, students, family, and friends at this community celebration! Gather with us to enjoy an array of activities and entertainment, games and giveaways, food, photo ops, and more. Check out the booths to participate in interactive fun from UBC faculties and other campus partners. With something for all ages, this free, outdoor festival promises to be a highlight of your Homecoming experience!

Planning your day
Start your Homecoming festivities on Saturday at the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre. Check-in and pick up your blue chip to redeem for a free mini cookie from campus favourite Blue Chip Café in their new location on the main floor of the Nest. Blue chips are available for the first 1000 guests.
Parking information
Thanks to UBC Parking’s generous support, Homecoming attendees can park at a discounted rate on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 9:00am to 11:59pm. Parking fees will be donated to the FORWARD for Students Affordability Fund.
The discounted rate is $4 for the day and is available at the following parkades:
- Rose Garden Parkade
- North Parkade
- Health Sciences Parkade
- West Parkade
- Fraser River Parkade
- Thunderbird Parkade
The discount is only available through the HONK mobile app and is subject to space availability. Pay once upon arrival at any parkade, and move your car between all parkades without additional charges.
Simply check “yes” during your Homecoming event registration to be sent information about how to access this discounted rate.

Thanks to the UBC Bookstore’s generous support, all Homecoming participants have access to a 12 per cent discount* on a variety of merchandise including UBC–branded apparel, giftware, and books. During Homecoming week only — September 14 to 21, 2024 — this special offer includes Thunderbird merchandise. Plan to stop at the Bookstore and stock up on new UBC swag!
